The way your day goes is a direct consequence of a choice you made. You will be happy or sad because of choices you make. Many of the things that bring you down are of your own choosing. You choose them because you feel there’s nothing better available to you. You are so wrong, there is always something better.
Think about it. Most of the things that bring you down are just old habits that you’ve never managed to break. They are not a permanent part of you, no matter what you think.
It takes some effort to find and make better choices. That is my challenge to you. The choices are out there, and once you begin to find a few, a whole lot more will suddenly pop into view. The better choices you make, the better your day will go.
It takes time and commitment to overcome a habit. Anything you do for 30 days becomes a habit, that is destructive or constructive. Once you do it, you’ll find that it is not that hard to make positive choices, to make choices to build you up not tear you down.
I challenge you to think about who you really are, and what you truly want to do with your life. Choose to let your best vision of who you are, and of who you can be, guide the choices that you make every moment. This is your life and your choices to make.
Your day can be easy, haphazard and empty, or it can be focused, directed and full. The choice is yours. The choices you make will make you who you choose to be today, tomorrow and each day after that.
