Cherish Each Day...

Each day is treasure.  You never know what it holds.  You have to be ready to accept what it hands you and use it for your good.  There will be days when you’ll become weary. When that happens, stop, rest for a while, and then get back on track with a renewed sense of purpose.
There will be days when you’ll become satisfied with what you’ve accomplished. Do not let those days stop you. Choose to continue building on what you’ve already created. Remember, the greatest achievement means very little if it is not put to use.
There will be days when the turn of life’s events will make you sad. On those days, take comfort in knowing that your sadness is possible only because you are such a loving and caring person.
There will be days that are frustrating and filled with disappointment. Use these as an opportunity to learn.  Use these to grow.  Always strive to look for the positive in any situation.
There will be days that are joyful. Take full advantage of these days.  Experience them to the fullest so that their positive value will become deep rooted within you.
Choose to cherish each day, no matter what it brings.  Each day contains a treasure that will add real and lasting value to your life. I challenge you to give your best to each day, and watch those treasures grow within you.

Attitude Changes Everything...

Attitude is everything.  It is extremely important when it comes to the choices you make, even in your daily routine.  Choose to stop fighting against what you have to do and turn it into what you want to do.
For any given situation or choice you encounter, you can be miserable and plodding or you can be enthusiastic and highly effective. It all depends on your attitude.
I challenge you that instead of dreading and avoiding something that you must get done, choose to look forward to it.  Don't procrastinate.  Just jump in and make it happen.  Make the choice to get it finished once and for all.
Every now and then you may need an attitude adjustment.  It’s really easy. You can do it without lifting a finger.
You will find that with a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward whatever task you must complete, the work will go more quickly and smoothly. The added bonus is that you’ll feel a whole lot better while doing it.  Remember attitude changes everything.  So decide today that you truly want to get it done and start putting forth the effort.  Soon you’ll be reaping the rewards of it.

You Choose How You Feel....

You are in control of how you feel because you choose how you feel. Situations and circumstances do not create your feelings.  You create whatever feeling you wish to feel in each particular situation.
Think about it.  There are some people that will be happy and other people that will be sad yet they are both in the same circumstance.  Why? Because each has chosen to be.  Each has chosen how they want to feel.  Often time the reaction is just a habit.
When you respond the same way often enough it becomes a habit that you follow without even thinking. In this way your feelings seem automatic, even though they never have to be.
You always have a choice how you feel.  You can choose to change, or let go of, or expand what you feel, or to create an entirely new feeling.
Remember that the connection between the moment and the feeling is made by you.  I challenge you to choose to feel the feelings that serve you best.  Choose the ones that pull you toward true and magnificent fulfillment.
It is your feelings that profoundly influence the life you experience, and those feelings are yours to choose in any moment. So choose the ones that give real power to the purpose that lives within you.  After all, you choose how you feel.

Through Your Failures...

There are certain things in your life in which you will experience failure.  You must treasure those failures, because they will ultimately lead you to success. Each negative result gets you closer and closer to your ultimate goal.
You can look at it that if you’re not failing, you’re not getting anything done. Don't be ashamed of your failures, instead see them as learning tools. You can learn more from undesired results, than you can from something which works the way you planned.
The key to winning is to never quit, to keep stepping up to bat. Even if you struck out the last time, and the time before that, keep swinging.  For each new attempt will bring you more experience, more knowledge, more determination.
I challenge you to keep going and work through your failures.  It would be a shame to stop just short of your goals. Every day you are growing.  Every day you’re getting better and better. With each attempt you learn, and become more effective. Your prize is closer than you think. You’re becoming a winner. You are on the verge of success.  Just keep it up for as long as it takes because through your failures in life your best moments will come.

Look Up...

Your outlook is very important.  The more you look up, the more things will be looking up.
The more positivity that you have in a physical sense, the more positive your whole life will be. Your mind and your body work together as one. It is impossible to be mentally and spiritually joyful and positive while at the same time living negative and lifeless.
Whenever you are smiling, standing or sitting up straight, looking upward, and breathing deeply, it is almost impossible to sustain a negative attitude. I challenge you to start to act positive and you will find yourself surrounded with everything positive. You’ll see the good things around you, and you’ll interact better with other people.
Think about it, who would you rather surround yourself with?  Someone who is slumped over and looking down at the ground, or someone who is sincerely cheerful, smiling, bright eyed, looking up, and full of positive energy.
You have to act how you want to be.  Sometimes, you will have to force yourself to act that way.  If you don’t want to be depressed, don’t act depressed. If you want to be joyful, act joyfully.  It is your choice how you choose to be.
So sit up straight, throw your shoulders back, take a deep breath, look up -- live your life with energy, passion, and joy.  You deserve it.

Your Choice...

The way your day goes is a direct consequence of a choice you made.  You will be happy or sad because of choices you make.  Many of the things that bring you down are of your own choosing. You choose them because you feel there’s nothing better available to you.  You are so wrong, there is always something better.
Think about it.  Most of the things that bring you down are just old habits that you’ve never managed to break. They are not a permanent part of you, no matter what you think.
It takes some effort to find and make better choices. That is my challenge to you.  The choices are out there, and once you begin to find a few, a whole lot more will suddenly pop into view.  The better choices you make, the better your day will go.
It takes time and commitment to overcome a habit. Anything you do for 30 days becomes a habit, that is destructive or constructive.  Once you do it, you’ll find that it is not that hard to make positive choices, to make choices to build you up not tear you down.
I challenge you to think about who you really are, and what you truly want to do with your life. Choose to let your best vision of who you are, and of who you can be, guide the choices that you make every moment.  This is your life and your choices to make.
Your day can be easy, haphazard and empty, or it can be focused, directed and full. The choice is yours.  The choices you make will make you who you choose to be today, tomorrow and each day after that.

What Do You Possess...

Do you know that what you possess speaks volumes about who you are?  Do you own your possessions, or do they own you? Your possessions are much more than just the financial and material things to which you hold the title. You also possess things such as pride, knowledge, habits, assumptions, and opinions. All these possessions can be useful servants, but they are poor masters.  It depends on how you use them in your life.  It depends on how you prioritize them in your life.
Think about pride. You take pride in your work, your appearance, and your performance.  It compels you to do your best. But when pride is the driving reason behind what you do, it changes from a positive to a negative influence. Money is the same way. It is extremely useful when used for service or honor purposes, but when money becomes the ultimate objective it can be very destructive.  It is not money that is the root of all evil, it is the love of money.
You have a wealth of possessions. Everything from the change in your pocket to the opinions in your head. If you let them control you, they can become disastrous and cause havoc in your life. So I challenge you to keep them in perspective. They are your tools, not your purpose.
