We all have people, places and things that have disappointed us. However, just because we've have been disappointed in life a hundred times before doesn’t mean we must be disappointed again. Today is a new day. In this day, beginning a new pattern is just as realistic and accessible as continuing the old one.
Every burden that we carry was created in the past. This moment is a good time to choose to leave them there. The only way our past or anything else can hold us back, is if we let it.
By choosing to hold on to resentment, we are continuing to punish ourselves for the wrongs that others have done. There’s really no good reason to do that.
Our future depends on our expectations, our choices and our actions. Refuse to fill it with useless and burdensome negativity from the past. Instead, choose to look forward, and look at the best within us as we set our expectations. Choose to create a new, shining story of achievement and fulfillment. Choose to get busy living that story.
Remember the only way the past or anything else can hold us back, is if we let it. Choose instead to allow the highest vision within pull authentic fulfillment into our lives.
